Columbia Celebrates New Firefighter Graduates!
Seventeen Brave Souls Join the Ranks!
Columbia was all smiles and cheers on a lovely Thursday night as the Columbia-Richland Fire Department celebrated a heartwarming graduation ceremony at C.A. Johnson High School. It was an exciting occasion as 17 new firefighters officially donned their badges and stepped into their new roles with pride. What a fantastic milestone for them and our community!
Chief Audrey D. Jenkins, the head of the Columbia-Richland Fire Department, was the star of the show! With a warm smile and a few heartfelt words, she administered the commencement ceremony, bringing a sense of accomplishment not only to the graduates but also to everyone who supported them during their journey.

The graduates of Class 24-02 have been through a rigorous training program at the department’s fire academy, working tirelessly to prepare for the demands and responsibilities of being a firefighter. Roberts Academic Achievement Award for his outstanding academic performance during training. Hats off to these remarkable recruits!
