Exciting News for Columbia’s Concert Scene This Spring and Summer!

Hey there, Columbia! It looks like our city’s concert scene is gearing up for a vibrant spring and summer in 2025 with some exciting new performances lined up. While February was a bit quiet on the concert front, we’re thrilled to announce that things are heating up now!

Colonial Life Arena Updates

Let’s start with the big guy in town – the Colonial Life Arena, South Carolina’s largest venue. Currently, it has only two music events scheduled: the hilarious Katt Williams bringing laughter on May 3, 2025, and the wonderfully entertaining Nate Bargatze set for August 14, 2025. However, it’s a bit of a bummer that no music events are lined up for the summer months. It seems like we might have to look at some local venues to get our concert fix!

Township Auditorium’s Line-Up

On a brighter note, the Township Auditorium is set to dazzle with some glittering new concerts! Get ready to groove with KC & the Sunshine Band on the very same day as Katt Williams’ show, May 3, 2025, and feel the soulful vibes of Ledisi on June 8, 2025. For a unique experience, don’t miss out on “Way Them Fans @ All Star Edition,” a live concert and steppers round-up happening on April 25, 2025. Tickets for all these events are up for grabs now!

Koger Center’s Jazz Offerings

Jazz lovers, rejoice! The Koger Center will host the smooth sounds of Jane Monheit on March 14, 2025. This concert is part of a series of exciting black box shows in partnership with ColaJazz. If jazz is your jam, make sure to grab your tickets soon because they are flying off the shelves!

The Senate Rocks This Spring

Now, let’s talk about The Senate, Columbia’s favorite rock club! They’ve got an incredible lineup to keep us rocking, starting with Tab Benoit on April 3, 2025, then Kidd G on April 25, 2025, and Jimmy Eat World lighting up the stage on May 13, 2025. Plus, we’ve got co-headliners Conner Smith and Dylan Marlowe on April 2, 2025. Make sure you snag those tickets while you can!

A Busy Calendar Awaits!

But it’s not just concerts; Columbia’s event calendar is packed with an array of fun happenings. Mark your calendars for the Irish Fest Camden and the 15th Annual Mardi Gras Columbia Parade & Festival happening on March 1, 2025. Enjoy local arts at the Cottontown Art Crawl on March 8, 2025, and check out the 43rd Annual St. Pat’s in Five Points on March 15, 2025. There are also some delightful food festivals like the South Carolina Pimento Cheese Festival on March 29, 2025 and The Big Nosh on March 30, 2025 to tickle your taste buds!

Additional Concert Highlights

If you’re a music enthusiast, don’t miss out on some additional concerts scheduled this spring, including A Night Out with The Isley Brothers & Friends on March 8, 2025, and a moe. concert on March 12, 2025 at The Senate. Plus, get ready for some classical vibes with the Beethoven & Blue Jeans concert on March 29, 2025 at Koger Center.

Community Involvement Opportunities

Don’t forget about the various runs and walks happening around town that not only get you moving but also support great causes. You can hop into the fun with events like the March for Meals 5K & 1-Mile Senior Walk on March 8, 2025 and the Get to the Green 5K, 10K & Family Fun Run on March 15, 2025.

In conclusion, Columbia is ready for an electrifying spring and summer filled with music, culture, and community spirit. Don’t miss out on all the fun events, concerts, and gatherings happening in our lovely city!
