According to Donahue, the collision repair industry is undergoing a rapid technological transformation. With many shops now incorporating automation platforms to manage online reviews and using artificial intelligence for damage estimates and verification of subrogation claims, staying ahead of the curve is crucial. In fact, automation is predicted to be the largest driver of marketing-related repair sales this year.

One of the standout strategies discussed was the power of local service ads (LSAs). Currently rolled out in California and Florida, these ads are anticipated to provide an excellent return on investment (ROI) for shops willing to adopt them early. Interestingly, lead conversions are an area that many shops are struggling with, with between 20% to 60% of website traffic failing to convert into sales.
