Canal Coffee Co. to Open New Location in Lexington, Exciting Coffee and Breakfast Options Ahead!

Exciting News for Coffee Lovers in Lexington!

Lexington is in for a treat! A brand-new place to grab your favorite cuppa joe and delicious bites is set to open at 510 Columbia Ave. That’s right, folks! Canal Coffee Co., a rapidly growing coffee company with existing locations scattered throughout the Carolinas and Florida, is rolling up its sleeves and preparing to brew a delightful new spot right here in town.

Canal Coffee Co. Is Coming to Town

A sneak peek around the property reveals a large sign announcing that this coffee haven is “brewing soon.” For those of you who can hardly wait for your next caffeine fix, don’t fret! Construction on the site was already underway earlier this week, so things are definitely moving along. However, the team at Canal Coffee has not yet shared an official opening date for eager patrons. So, stay tuned!

Curious about Canal Coffee Co.? Well, they’re not just a local pop-up. With eight existing locations already in South Carolina, North Carolina, and Florida, they’ve made quite a name for themselves. In South Carolina alone, they already have spots on Summit Parkway in Columbia, Broad River Road in Irmo, and near the Columbia Metropolitan Airport in South Congaree. This new location in Lexington is sure to add to their growing reputation!

A Menu That Brews Excitement

As for the menu, Canal Coffee Co. offers a delightful mix of traditional and specialty coffees, along with an array of seasonal options. The fall menu is particularly thrilling, showcasing the fall harvest cold brew. Can you imagine? Cold brew infused with brown sugar, cinnamon, and pumpkin, all topped off with a dreamy shortbread cold foam! It’s the perfect sip as the leaves begin to change color.

But wait, there’s more! If you’re not in the mood for coffee, Canal also serves up energy drinks, teas, smoothies, and hot breakfast items that will surely get your day started right. Think mouth-watering spicy sausage biscuits that are perfect for a morning grab-and-go!

Prime Location for Coffee Lovers

Now, let’s talk about location. Canal Coffee Co. will be in a highly-trafficked area of Lexington, just northwest of downtown. It’s perfect for those on-the-road caffeine runs, especially since nearly 33,000 cars pass through that section of Columbia Avenue each day, according to data from transportation authorities.

Plus, the coffee shop will be right near other commercial businesses that are sure to bring in foot traffic. With a Pizza Hut next door and a Best Western hotel and Applebee’s restaurant directly across the street, it seems like the perfect place to stop for a quick bite or a relaxing afternoon coffee.

Additionally, Canal Coffee will have some friendly competition, as it’s just a couple of blocks away from CLUTCH Coffee Bar, another fast-growing chain making waves in the Carolinas. Coffee lovers around Lexington will have plenty of options to satisfy their cravings!

What This Means for Lexington

So what does all this mean for Lexington? Well, more coffee options always equals more happy residents! The city has an exciting culinary scene, and with Canal Coffee Co. joining the mix, it looks like Lexington is on the rise.

While we wait to see when the doors will officially open, we can already sense the buzz surrounding this fresh addition to our friendly town. It sounds like we’re all in for some fabulous coffee and scrumptious treats in the near future! So, mark your calendars and keep your eyes peeled for more updates!
