On Monday, October 7, 2024, a specially trained Disaster Survivor Assistance Team will be in Newberry to help residents navigate the process. They will set up shop at the Newberry County Sheriff’s Office Drill Hall from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This will be a walk-in only event, so feel free to drop by and ask any questions you may have about the assistance available.
It’s important to note, though, that while the DSA team will be there to provide guidance and answer all your questions, they won’t be able to upload documents or process payments for Individual Assistance. They will focus on helping you with the registration process, ensuring you know exactly what steps to take to secure the help you need.
