Michigan High School Football Week 6 Wrap-Up

This week’s high school football action in Michigan lit up the fields across the state, showcasing intense competitions as teams battled for victory. Teams stepped onto the field in Week 6, and the energy was electric from start to finish.

One of the standout performances came from Monroe St. Mary’s Catholic Central, who handed Riverview their first loss of the season with a solid 34-15 win. In a high-scoring matchup, Addison dominated Homer with a staggering score of 60-22, leaving fans thrilled.

Other significant results included Alcona overpowering Heston at 67-12 and All Saints crushing Carsonville-Port Sanilac with an impressive 84-0. Paw Paw also marked their territory by defeating Edwardsburg with a close score of 21-7.

The match between Brighton and Canton ended in a lopsided affair, with Brighton emerging victorious by 38-0. Meanwhile, Grosse Pointe South showcased their skills with a mighty triumph of 55-0 against L’Anse Creuse North.

In the awards nominations, congratulations are in order for Ella Atkinson from Allen Park, who has been named the Prep Athlete of the Week for Sept. 22-28. Nominations for the next week are open, and voting will commence on Tuesday, so teams and fans are encouraged to send in their choices for the upcoming week.

The excitement continues next week as teams gear up for more action, looking to improve their standings and, ultimately, capture playoff spots. Be sure to stay tuned for updates on scores, rankings, and standout performances!
