Colchester’s dominant performance against Burlington stood out as they secured an 8-4 victory, led by Ava Moore, who scored three goals and provided two assists. The Lakers jumped to a quick 4-0 lead in the first half.
Champlain Valley also showed strength, defeating Mount Mansfield 5-0 with standout performances from Elsa Klein, who scored two goals, and Rieanna Murray, who contributed one goal and two assists.
In soccer, U-32 made a statement with an impressive 8-1 victory over Lamoille, while Mount Abraham battled Middlebury to a thrilling 3-2 overtime win, with Safoura Camara netting the game-winner.
The golf scene produced some notable scores as Derin Suren from Essex became the medalist with a score of 36 during their match. He was supported by teammates Bryce Terborgh and Alex Manfred, both finishing strong as well.
Looking ahead, several exciting matchups are scheduled for this week, including North Country facing off against Montpelier and Milton visiting Mount Abraham. Coaches are encouraged to report game results promptly to ensure fans stay updated on their favorite teams.
