In Pittsburgh, high school sports are heating up with an exciting lineup of soccer matches taking place tomorrow. The boys’ teams are set for a busy day, with several matches scheduled across different sections.
Starting with Class A Section 1, South Side is hosting Neshannock at 5:30 p.m. In nonsection play, fans can catch California taking on Waynesburg Central at 7 p.m., followed by Central Catholic facing Peters Township at 7:30 p.m. Other notable matches include Hempfield making a visit to Southmoreland and Knoch challenging North Hills, both at 7:30 p.m.
For teams in competitive sections, Penn Hills and Riverview are set to kick off at 4:15 p.m. Meanwhile, Steel Valley will go head-to-head with Beth-Center at 7 p.m. Finally, Upper St. Clair will be at South Fayette, also starting at 7:30 p.m.
The girls’ teams also have a full slate of games lined up, starting with Class 3A Section 1, where Fox Chapel will visit Shaler at 7:30 p.m. Gateway will compete at Penn Hills, while Hampton is off to Obama Academy for a 5 p.m. match.
In Section 2, Bethel Park is set to challenge West Allegheny at 7 p.m., and in Section 4, Elizabeth Forward will be at West Mifflin for a 7 p.m. game.
