On June 3, 2024, Detective Arrington of the Lexington Police Department reached out to the public for assistance in identifying an alleged shoplifter. Surveillance footage shows the man in question who, on May 7, 2024, reportedly stole a whopping $6,469.79 worth of computer parts from Best Buy located at 5135 Sunset Boulevard.

Theft Caught On Camera

The suspect was caught on camera forcing open a locked display before taking the high-value items and concealing them on his person. He then reportedly exited the store without making payment, making his way into the busy streets of Lexington, SC.

“We believe in the observance of law and order and seek community members’ support in bringing the suspect to justice,” stated Detective Arrington in a plea for public assistance.
