South Carolina Gamecocks Conclude Season at NCAA Championship

Carlsbad, Calif. – No.3 South Carolina’s season came to a close at the NCAA Championship on Sunday. The Gamecocks finished 23rd at 40-over for the tournament, missing the cut for the top-15. Carolina teed off in the afternoon wave today and was just outside the top-15 at 17-over needing a solid round to advance. The Gamecocks shot 311 (+23) and slipped three spots down the leaderboard.

Freshman Vairana Heck Shines in Final Round

Freshman Vairana Heck shot 76 (+4) to lead Carolina in the final round. She made four birdies and closed strong with three circles on her scorecard over the final five holes.
