Chapel Hill, N.C. – Carolina Earns Top Seed In ACC Championship
After wrapping up its final regular season ACC match earlier today, the Atlantic Coast Conference released the 2024 ACC Women’s Tennis Championship bracket Sunday evening with North Carolina as the top seed. The Tar Heels finished conference play with a 12-1 record and earned a bye in each of the first two rounds on Wednesday and Thursday.
Quarterfinal Match-Up
With the first two rounds off, Carolina will face the winner of No. 8 Duke and No. 9 Wake Forest on Friday, April 19 in the quarterfinals. North Carolina is set to begin play on Friday at 3:30 p.m. at the Cary Tennis Park in Cary, N.C.
Television Coverage and Tickets
The Saturday semifinal match featuring the highest remaining seed and the Sunday championship match will be broadcast live on ACC Network Extra. Single day tickets are priced at $10 for adults (ages 18 and older) and $7 for youth ages 17 and under. Admission is free for children 9 and under. ACC college students get in free with school ID. A full championship pass for all five days is priced at $25. All seating for the tournament is General Admission. Tickets may be purchased online at theacc.co/24ACCtennischamptix.
