Gamecocks to Play in 2024 Ally Tipoff in Charlotte
South Carolina women’s basketball will join three other teams for the 2024 Ally Tipoff in Charlotte, the Charlotte Sports Foundation announced today. The Gamecocks will face regional rival NC State on Sun., Nov. 10, at Spectrum Center in Charlotte as part of a doubleheader that includes Iowa vs. Virginia Tech.
South Carolina head coach Dawn Staley expressed her excitement about the event, stating, “This is the type of event we love to play in – high-level opponent, regional so our fans can be part of the game, and backed by a sponsor who has invested in growing women’s sports.”
