Art Lovers Rejoice!

If you’re an art enthusiast or simply looking for a fun way to spend your time, Alexandra’s Art Studio, located on Sparkleberry Crossing Road, offers an array of adult and kids classes, along with exciting kids camps. It’s a perfect opportunity to let your creativity shine!

And don’t forget the highly anticipated Historic Melrose Art in the Yard happening on Sunday, December 8th, from 1–5 p.m. It will take place outdoors across several city blocks, with maps and more information available on their Facebook and Instagram pages. Come enjoy the work of local artists and soak in the vibrant atmosphere!

Get ready for some sweet holiday cheer with the Midlands ClayArts Holiday Sale from December 5th to 7th at Stormwater Studios. This is your chance to snag unique handmade treasures from local artisans! The sale runs from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. If you’re a fan of gingerbread, mark your calendar for December 7th! The South Carolina Gingerbread House Competition will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at AIA Columbia on Main Street. St. David’s Episcopal Church is hosting a forum on church safety this Sunday, November 10th, at noon, featuring a representative from the Richland County Sheriff’s Department. It’s time to get moving! Join the Palmetto Scottish Country Dance group for their fun sessions every Monday from 6–7:45 p.m. at Eastminster Presbyterian Community Life Center, perfect for dancers of all ages! If ballet is more your style, the Adult Ballet Classes on Thursdays at 7 p.m. at the Columbia Music Festival Association will have you pirouetting in no time.

Looking for a way to give back while having a great time? Head to the Wine on the River event hosted by the Lexington Medical Center Foundation on Friday, November 8th, from 6–10 p.m. at West Columbia Riverwalk. Sip on some fine wines and enjoy the lovely riverside atmosphere while supporting a good cause!
