Kansas City High School Football Scores: Playoffs and More
This week was full of exciting high school football action around Kansas City, with several teams competing in the playoffs and others wrapping up their regular seasons. A number of games took place on Thursday and Friday, showcasing talent and fierce competition.
Starting off on Thursday, Blue Valley Northwest came out strong against Shawnee Mission North, winning with a score of 31-12. Olathe Northwest also notched a solid victory, defeating Olathe South 44-21. Another impressive performance was delivered by Shawnee Mission Northwest, who overwhelmed Shawnee Mission South with a final score of 57-27.
In non-playoff action, Riley County delivered a dominating performance against Oskaloosa, crushing them 64-0.
Friday’s games featured some high-scoring matchups too. Atchison claimed victory over Bonner Springs with a score of 62-16, while Mill Valley made a statement by beating Harmon 77-0. Bishop Miege pulled ahead of Louisburg by winning 21-14, and Blue Valley North edged out a close game against De Soto, finishing at 34-27.
Other notable scores included Lawrence Free State defeating Olathe West 49-26, and Leavenworth dominating Washington 47-7. Spring Hill also secured a strong win against Shawnee Heights, closing the game at 48-14.
The week concluded with less competitive matchups, such as Wellington-Napoleon showcasing their abilities with an astounding victory of 82-6 against Southwest (Livingston County).
